The front uses red garnet, white moonstone, and blue goldstone to create a striking tribute to Old Glory. The pendant itself is a triangle, alluding to the three branches of our government, and is filled with an iridescent shard of ancient Roman glass. The blue goldstone necklace is 18-inches long and is finished off with a sturdy lobster claw clasp.
The Roman glass shards are found in archaeological digs where the great cities of the Roman Empire once stood. Jewelers in a small studio in the north of Israel clean, cut, and set the glass. A story card accompanies each piece explaining the nature of Ancient Roman Glass.
