Based on the ceremonial tumi knives the Incas used to perform sophisticated surgery, the central pendant is hand finished with a brushed texture. An oxidized patina around the stones provides added contrast.
This necklace is made entirely out of sterling silver in a small studio near Haifa, Israel. Its eight members include Israelis, Bedouin women, Russian emigres - a small, multicultural community that has held together through the strife around them.
