This set is constructed by the Masai Tribe of Kenya, East Africa. The Masai warriors were known throughout history for their hunting skills and bravery. A young Masai boy had to hunt and kill or capture a lion with a replica shield and spear for the right of passage to manhood. This shield is handmade from goat skin and the spear is constructed from ebony wood and steel.
