Binomio is now well known in Italy, it is the most potent Montepulciano that you will ever taste. It features strong with blackberry fruit, spice, and with a potent long finish. This wine can age 7 to 10 years and also spends 15 months in new French barriques.
Wine characteristics include a deep, opaque black color; a powerful nose of ripe plums, riglisse, and leather; and a full body with a rich, unctuous texture. It has smooth tannins on the finish and a long finish with fruit and vanillin subtly mixed confirm the impression of a 'Grand Vin'. The wine drinks well now and is most suitable as accompaniment to big entries.
