The center pendant has inlaid pearls, murano glass from Italy and ancient Roman glass from Israel all delicately inlaid by hand to create a flower design. The two side pendants also feature crushed Roman glass with tiny amethyst beads as a border. The effect is a stunning necklace for spring time. This piece is made in a studio near the town of Rananaa in Israel. Many Eastern European immigrants as well as native born Israelis work there. Each pearl and bead is inlaid painstakingly by hand creating a richly textured and beautiful piece of wearable art.
Please do not get your jewelry wet. Treat it with the respect the 2,000-year-old Roman glass deserves. Avoid showering or swimming with your jewelry on, and don't use hairspray near it. It's recommended that you not even touch it frequently -- oils from your hands may alter the glass color and remove its luster. Clean the silver with a cloth, but try not to rub the ancient glass.
