Designed by American jeweler Angie Olami, this piece is a tribute to glass makers all over the world. In the center dangles a fragment of ancient Roman glass which is hand set above a bezel featuring freshwater dark grey pearls. On the left are sodalite and a rich red garnet and on the right is a square garnet with a beautiful iridescent Murano glass bead set underneath. All these colors and textures are pulled together by the sparkling violet crystal strand and finished off with a sterling silver lobster claw clasp.
Please do not get your jewelry wet and don't use hairspray near it.. Treat it with the respect that the 2000 year old Roman glass deserves. It's recommended that you not even touch it frequently -- oils from your hands may alter the glass color and remove its luster. Clean the silver with a cloth, but try not to rub the ancient glass.
