This finished product involves about a one-month process. It begins by shaping the wood and then sanding it by hand until perfectly smooth. In order for these boxes to have a shiny appearance, there are no less than seven coats of lacquer applied to every piece. After each coat, the vase sits in a cool cellar for about four days. The final step is to hand paint each box with precise detail.
The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in design and sizing. Subtle variations will occur from piece to piece, adding to its unique qualities. Measurements may vary slightly.
