The Akha Hill tribe people in Northern Thailand design this lamp. The base and frame are made of pinewood, while each side is made from beautiful strips of evenly cut bamboo. This lamp is not intended to light up an entire room, but will provide a lovely accent. The lamp boasts an on/off switch and accommodates one 15-watt bulb. It is recommended that you use a 60-75 watt chandelier bulb for the full effect.
