Kumbeshwar Technical School, where this piece was crafted, is a non-profit non-government social organization in Kumbeshwar, Patan in Nepal. The school was established in 1983 to improve education and employment opportunities for local residents who had for many years been denied such options. More than 1,200 Nepalese men and women have received vocational training at the school and learned sustainable skills with which to support themselves.
