This watch features a handmade sterling silver band with resplendent shards of Ancient Roman glass from Israel. Complimented by spirals and a stylish heavy mesh band, the watch combines the style of a bracelet and the functionality of a high-quality time-piece.
The shards are found on archaeological digs where the great cities of the Roman Empire used to be. Jewelers in a small studio in the north of Israel clean, cut, and set the glass. Roman Numerals on the faux mother of pearl dial compliment the Roman origins of the glass. The heavy mesh band features a box clasp and safety lock. The watch measures 7-inches long and is not adjustable. The band is sterling silver and the watch is stainless steel.
The handcrafted nature of this product will produce slight variations in color, form, and sizing. All measurements are approximate.
Please do not get your jewelry wet and don't use hairspray near it.. Treat it as if it were 2,000 years old. It's recommended that you not even touch it frequently -- oils from your hands may alter the glass color and remove its luster. Clean the silver with a cloth, but try not to rub the ancient glass.
