Add a unique, handcrafted accent to your decor with a charming Worldstock coat rack.
These artistic creations are crafted by highly skilled Mexican artisans. Sturdy wrought iron is fashioned into an eye-catching pattern, then painted by hand with a blend of enamel and acrylic hues, creating a rustic yet elegant ambience. Two designs are available, a wild stallion or a whimsical Kokopelli.
Kokopelli is the popular horn player present on a multitude of Southwestern artifacts and cliff paintings. His humped back, rooster-like crown and ubiquitous horn are symbols forever linked to the enchanting American Southwest. Each Native culture of the area has a slightly different take on the charming Kokopelli. To the Natives of Southern Utah he is a Johnny Appleseed like character who travels from village to village with his bag of corn, teaching the people how to plant and harvest. Some Navajo legends depict Kokopelli as carrying a hump made of clouds and seeds, while many Pueblo societies describe his hump as a bundle of blankets he carries to accommodate the countless women he seduces. Whatever his origins, this flute playing trickster shows up on cliff writings as far North as Calgary, Canada, and as far south as central Mexico.
The other design available is a bold stallion with flowing mane. This stunning coat rack makes a fine, detailed contribution to the design of your favorite living area. Each rack contains three sturdy coat hooks as well as attached o-rings for easy hanging.
