This exquisite piece features a round iridescent shard of ancient Roman glass (10 mm diameter), a large faceted amethyst (7 x 7 mm), and a cultured white pearl (4 mm diameter) - all are bezel set by hand. The glass is found in the archaeological excavations of ancient Roman cities in Israel. Jewelers in a small studio in the north of Israel clean, cut, and set the glass. The chain is an 18-inch oxidized snake chain that compliments the pendant.
The handcrafted nature of this product will produce slight variations in color, form, and sizing. All measurements are approximate.
Please do not get your jewelry wet and don't use hairspray near it. Treat it as if it were 2,000 years old. It's recommended that you not even touch it frequently -- oils from your hands may alter the glass color and remove its luster. Clean the silver with a cloth, but try not to rub the ancient glass.
