Add a unique touch to your outdoor decor with this handmade brass door knocker, from Lebanon.
Made by an artisan locally known in Lebanon as 'Koko', each brass knocker is made by making molds in sand, which is a tradition passed down in Koko's family for generations. Koko first puts the liquid brass in a mold and then puts the mold in the sand to shape the piece. This piece is not a traditional design and was specifically designed for our Worldstock customers.
The large brass door knocker boasts a window cut-out design and measures 7.5 inches long x 4.5 inches wide. The large knocker boasts a distressed hammered plate to add to the unique look.
Patrick Byrne (Overstock's CEO) met with Koko on his trip to Lebanon, while he was looking for artisans on the streets of Beirut. Koko is Armenian who moved to Lebanon in 1952.
