The Supelveda business began as a way for Jorge to pay his high school fees, and has continued for two decades. They favour copper and brass for their affordable availability, and technical compatibility. To draw colours from the copper, they use a bath of salts and oxides, and the colours are later sealed with varnish.
In the quiet studio in front of their home, the Sepulvedas have created a signature style that is Chilean in origin, but global in its bold appeal.
