These handsome outfits were discovered by Worldstock Director Neelab Kanishka, a native Afghan, on a jewelry buying excursion to Kabul. A local artisan overheard her negotiating with a jewelry merchant and offered these vests, explaining that if he could sell 50 of them he could support his family for some time. Knowing a bargain when she saw one, Neelab purchased 150. Since the first order arrived in September, 2003, they have become one of Worldstock's best selling items.
